Eagle's Nest
Today, my mom and I did some shopping in Norwalk where we had lunch at Wendy's and I took this picture:

After lunch, we went to Linens & Things where I decided to get a head start on college shopping. I got a mirror and a purple Mary-Kate & Ashley shag carpet:

I am so cool:

Tonight, my mom, my dad, and I packed up leftover baked ziti in Chinese food containers (new ones, not used...) and drove down to the beach to have dinner. Of course, I took a bunch of pictures:

Snack stand:

My mom had heard that there was an eagle's nest on top of the eagle statue/tower on one of the little beach islands, so we had to go check it out:

Seagull:

I love the beach:

Egret:

I'm not sure what kind of bird this is... maybe just another kind of seagull?

Goslings:

After the beach, we stopped by Binney Park again and saw the same turtle Brent and I had seen before:

Little house at the park:

Blue ceiling:

Tree stump growing out of a cement pipe?

Pretty pond:

Bridge:

Sam, the park-dwelling hobo dude:

Egret:

And finally, Mom and Dad on the bridge:

They had their wedding pictures taken at the park which I think is really cute.
That's all, Mom and I are attempting to watch Shaun of the Dead on TV right now, so we'll see how that goes....

Cute cute cute and gorgeous. I love all your pictures. And the contrast to my pictures of Brooklyn which are always so gritty, raw and of course dirty.

The bird is a black-crowned night heron.
