More Random Stuff

Ok, well, today I went to the beach to have a BBQ with some wonderful people, but I'm not going to put those pictures up quite yet. Basically, I have a bunch of pictures from the last few days, and if I put them up with fun BBQ pictures then no one will look at them and I'll be really sad, so I'm saving the BBQ pics for tomorrow. All right, that being said, here are some pictures from the last few days.

Saturday night, my parents and I went down to the beach for dinner from the snack stand. I know, I have way too many beach pictures, but here are some more:

Anyway, here's a completely random thing I'm angry about. I noticed this the other day:

That's the inside of our refrigerator and if you can't read it, the little digital screen says "door open." I can't figure out what idiots out there thought this was a necessary feature. It's interesting that in the four years we've had that refrigerator I've never noticed the "door open" notice... oh wait, maybe that's because I notice the door being wide open before I read it on the little itty-bitty screen. Oh, the door is open? Really? I wouldn't have realized if I hadn't leaned into the cold, open fridge to read your little digital screen.

All right, moving on.... After the beach, we went to Blockbuster where we rented Prime which was a pretty funny movie. Here are a couple particularly unnecessary pictures of Blockbuster in Stamford and the patriotic cookies we ate during our movie:

Yesterday morning, I started my day off with a delicious cup of crema-style coffee from Mr. T, our fabulous coffee, espresso, lattee, cappuccino, mocha, EVERYTHING maker:

Mid-afternoon, my mom and I went to one of our clubs, Rocky Point, to read out by the water. Neither of us did much reading because it was such a beautiful afternoon and we wanted to take in the scenery:

After Rocky Point, we took a drive around the beach where we saw Officer Beach Cop on one of the new "I'm so embarrassed for Greenwich" beach cop vehicles:

Off-roading is always important, and ATVs make the beach cops soooo much less useless.

Last night, we all went to see Mission Impossible 3 which I thought was really really good. Here's a cool building (that this picture doesn't do justice to) by the movie theater in Stamford:

And lastly, this is the yellow bird that lives in our trees that I nearly broke my leg (sorry Pat) trying to chase after with my camera:
