As you all know, I got a new camera for my birthday on Friday, so I've been having a lot of fun with it. Yesterday, I poked around in my backyard for a while taking some random pictures.
Potato Bug:

Moss in my backyard:

Centipede:

When I was younger, I had a beautiful tree house around two of the trees in our backyard, but apparently those trees weren't finished growing... so here's what happened:

Squirrel up in the trees:

Last night, my dad wasn't home so my mom and I went to Oriental Gourmet, the best Chinese take-out place in the world, to get chicken lo mein for dinner.
The back door at Oriental Gourmet:

We decided it would be fun to take our food to the beach to eat:

My fortune ("Love is like sweet medicine, good to the last drop"):

Using my camera's really good zoom, I got this picture of a lighthouse way out in the water:

After eating our Chinese food, we drove around the beach and saw four or five goslings:

Then we came home and made s'mores cookies:

After eating some delicious cookies, I tried taking some cool dew drop pictures of my mom's flower arrangement. I want to know which one people like the best, so please comment and let me know your opinion:

Today, my mom and I had to run some errands in Stamford followed by some amazing ice cream.
Pigeons:

Ice cream at Emack & Bolio's:

They make really cool cones fresh every morning with stuff on them like pretzels, chocolate, cookies... and the ones that my mom and I got, rice krispies treats:

We both got "no sugar added" Moose Tracks ice cream which I wouldn't have known was "diet" had it not been for the sign. Delicious!

Everyone should definitely check out the Emack & Bolio's across the street from the Ridgeway Shopping Center in Stamford, CT (or at any of their other locations):

Well, that's all for now. I'm off to make baked ziti! Have a great afternoon everyone!
