Playing With Light Refraction
Before I put up any of the pictures from tonight, I want to put up one I just took playing with light refraction. I knew my physics classes would come in handy at some point... so I've been putting my knowledge of light refraction to good use these past couple days (yes I'm a loser). Yesterday I took some pictures of dew drops and flowers, and today I used the sphyrical top of a sugar bowl in front of one of my dad's wine bottles from his collection and here's the result:

Anyway, earlier this evening, my mom and I made baked ziti together, and it came out amazingly:
I think tonight was the last voting night for "American Idol," and Davey is OBSESSED with "American idol"... so here he is frantically dialing in to vote. He was very distressed because he had trouble getting through so he tried putting them on speed dial. How sad:
Lastly, I took a bunch of pictures of my kitty, Frisky. She lost a toe recently due to a terrible infection, but she's healing very quickly so she's been playing around the house which makes me really happy:
That's all. I've gotten into the HBO show "Big Love" thanks to Jocelyn, so I'm going to get back to watching it now. Goodnight!

I think I gave Dad that bottle of wine......great shot though!

Hey Jocelyn, Mom and Dad already told me I was wrong about the wine bottle but I didn't bother changing it in the blog. That's the Memorial Day wine bottle, the one he's raffling off is already gone.

Yum, I'll be home for Memorial day ;-)
If it is nice Sunday & Monday we will probably BBQ on Sunday at the Skybar & go to the beach in CT on Monday. Come to Brooklyn and party in the skybar on Sunday!!
