Super Awesome Playdate With Cathy, Mike, and Brent

Brent drove down to Greenwich today to visit me, yay! This afternoon, we went out to lunch with Cathy and Mike for an awesome playdate. We went to Panera in PoCho (Port Chester, NY) and had a delicious meal.

Panera:

Panera is a bread/soup/sandwich place and soooo yummy!

Mike and Cathy at the free samples table:

Brent walked up to the counter and started ordering and about half way through his order the lady looked at him and... "Welcome to Panera, how may I help you?" Yes, she was an idiot. Still is, I assume. Anyway, we got our soup/sandwiches all right and they were amazing.

Brent and Me:

Brent didn't want to waste any of our bread, so he put it in his pocket:

After Panera, Brent and I went over to Cathy and Mike's house for the continuation of our playdate. We ate Muddy Buddies and watched Superstar.

Muddy Buddies:

The powdered sugar I secretly got all over Brent's face:

After the movie, we played an awesome game of catch the green ball. Cathy had to leave for 10 minutes to pick up her mom, so Brent, Mike, and I started counting (out loud) the number of times we caught the ball. Around 36, I dropped it (because Brent threw it badly!) but we kept on counting. Cathy got back somewhere in the 200s and joined in the game even though she had no idea what we were doing. We got to 500, celebrated, and called it a day.

After our playdate, Brent and I came back to my house and my mom and I burried the cat, Frisky, in Easy Mac:

We want really badly to get on Stuff On My Cat and keep sending in pictures, to no avail.

Brent took a brief nap on one of the couches and I took this cool reflection picture of him:

Isn't he just darling?

After napping, my parents, Brent, and I met up with my grandparents at Beach House Cafe... "The Beach House" to local Greenwichites, a cute beachy restaurant in Old Greenwich.

The Beach House has the black and white awning by the clock.

More pictures:

OG Unit, the old G-Unit:

The new G-Unit, loosely related to the music industry, should not be confused with the G-Unit of the days of yore. When were the days of yore anyway?

After dinner, we went back to my grandparents' house to have dessert. We had delicious pastries from one of the local bakeries and I definitely had more than I'd like to talk about.

Pastries:

After getting our fill of dessert, Brent and I went to see the movie RV:

We both thought it was one of the funniest movies ever... just hilarious. Now we really want to drive an RV to Colorado, too. Maybe someday....

Road trip anyone?

Comments

if i'm not mistaken, the days of yore ended with the dawn of yesteryear. lets say yore ended around 1850. yesteryear ended, oh, about 1965 maybe.

thank you professor brent, master of all that is chronological and makes no sense.

and is based on absolutely nothing. i obviously made that all up.
