Tom Squad '06

Yesterday, I got up relatively early (probably sometime shortly before 10am) to go shopping with my mom. Before we left, we saw this beautiful white moth outside our front door. When we first saw it, we actually thought it was a fallen white flower because it was so pretty:

Well, at least I thought it was a fallen white flower. It landed right on my mom before falling to the ground so she was in a panic about a giant bug on her.

Anyway, I've been to about four different stores looking for the Conair jumbo hot rollers I wanted so badly and FINALLY found them at Target yesterday. Has anyone been to the target in Stamford, CT? They have escalators for the shopping carts. Very exciting:

Last night was our first softball game of the season! We're on the Tom's Driving School team (Cathy's dad is Tom), better known as Tom Squad. Last night's game was against the Greenwich teachers, so we actually knew a bunch of them who worked at our high school. They had been in a more advanced league last year but chose to drop down into our league again this year... so theoretically they're the best... but we beat them!

After the game, we all went home to get cleaned up, then Vanessa, Ali, Molly, and I went over to Cathy's house to watch TV and hang out. I was the first to get there and Mike was doing his statistics homework and he was doing a problem about freezing rain. I'm a huge nerd and I think math and weather are really cool, so I got Mike to let me do that problem for him. Apparently Vanessa thinks I'm a loser:
