Cathy and Pat's Visit

Two weekends ago, Cathy and Pat came to visit Brent and me here at Trinity! They both go to Mitchell College in New London, CT and were going to be in the area so they came to see us. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best night around campus for partying since the Fall Concert was the next night, but we definitely still had a good time.

Cathy and Pat:

I wish I could say we were really drunk for these pictures because that would make them less embarrassing... but we totally weren't. We're just idiots. In this next picture, I had the camera set up on top of my DVD rack so that we could all get in it, but as the 10 second timer was counting down, the camera shifted a little bit (I guess DVDs don't make a good photography tripod) and in the last two seconds we all had to jump/dive/throw ourselves towards Brent to get in the picture. The shot actually came out way more hilarious than any of us could have expected:

I think my favorite part is Pat reaching for Brent's crotch, or maybe me torpedoing into it.

For my birthday in May, Kristina gave me a bunch of really cool lip-plumper lip glosses that I use all the time and I attempted to get the guys to try it to see how cool it feels:

For those of you who don't know, Kings is a drinking game with a different thing you have to do for every card you pick out of the deck.

After playing a couple rounds of Kings in my room, we headed over to Jon, Joe, Andrew, and Mark's quad where they were having a party for Marissa's birthday:

I have no idea who any of these guys are, but I told them that if they posed for a picture I'd post it on the internet. What an offer! I think I'm going to name them Rudyard, Mateo, and Chaz:

Ok, so this picture is a little weird. No, not just because we look like idiots. If you look right above us towards the ceiling, it looks like there's a little puff of white smoke or something. There's never any sort of smoke in my room, so we can't figure out what it is except that for the entire time that I've been living in my dorm room (about a month) I've been seeing bright flashes out of the corner of my eye in that EXACT place over and over. I also hear weird noises coming from that corner in the middle of the night, so I'm convinced it's haunted. Here's the picture:

Oh yeah, you've got yourself a ghost. We have one too, in the dream loft. He's Asian, and he used to be a worker in a factory. My building used to be a sweatshop and I think he is confused about the walls we built....
