A Brief Foray into Vegetarianism

So last night, to procrastinate working on our stupid case briefs for Constitutional Law, Brent and I applied to volunteer at the Humane Society in Connecticut as dog walkers and cat cuddlers, how cute is that? I don't remember where we got the idea, but it got us thinking about all the animals we eat and wear every day. Brent decided to become a vegetarian and I decided to make a triumphant effort to stop eating meat and ultimately give up at my first hamburger craving. I succeeded! I was a vegetarian through lunch when I had my first (and last) veggie burger. I knew it wouldn't last, but I'm still going to congratulate myself for my meat-free morning. Brent's vegetarianism ended tonight (tonight being Friday even though it's officially Saturday already) with a hot dog incident.

Other than that, I haven't been up to anything fun because I've had a lot of work, but hopefully something will be going on this weekend. I'm going home to Greenwich with Brent on Sunday for the day so that we can show my family the baby bunnies! I'm getting sidetracked, but I guess you can't really get sidetracked in a pointless entry.

Now that I'm back on meat (and lots of it) I think I'm going to give up carbs. Good idea? Probably not, but that's all right because I'll most certainly give it up soon. Wish me luck!!
