Bunnies' Day Out
First, a quick update on Frisky. I came home Monday afternoon when I heard the bad news to see my little kitty and could hardly believe that anyone had suggested she was knocking on death's door because, other than being quite thin, she seemed to be her usual self, swatting at people's legs during dinner, running around the house chasing a piece of string, and consuming infeline (I was going to say inhuman but I guess most people wouldn't call her a person) amounts of food. Now that I'm home again (for an event that I will post about very soon), 48 hours later, I already see a huge improvement in Frisky's overall physique. She had gotten so thin that her spine was literally sharp to the touch. I'm not joking, it was actually jagged, and her fur looked dull and flat. Just these two days later, Brent and I both agree that she has a little more meat on her bones and her fur is brighter and fluffier, like it used to be. I know this probably sounds a little silly, but I know my cat and she's getting back to normal which I am thrilled about.
Here are some pictures from Monday night.
Pretending not to care about the string dangling in front of her:

Frisky chasing string around the house:

What kind of person would allow a happy little cat to be put to sleep? Hmph!
Now, for the bunnies.
My mom bought Winston and George a pen to play in outside (or inside) which they absolutely love. They have leashes and they do go for walks, but it's fun for them to be able to hop around on their own too. Remember, if you have bunnies and want to put them in a pen outside, it MUST be in at least some shade because bunnies get heat stroke really easily.
George wouldn't let me take pictures on bunny-level because he had to sufficiently sniff the camera, and sniffing for bunnies can be an all-day adventure.
George strutting his stuff over to the camera:

Chloe thought the bunny pen was the most fascinating, but frustrating thing she had ever seen. The bunnies were out on her level (they're usually up on a table in my room when they're home) but, unfortunately for her, she couldn't get to them. I don't quite trust Chloe with the bunnies because she seemed all too interested in tasting them. She would stick her tongue through the little bars and lick them as they walked past. Winston and George thought this was great fun and would hop right over to get their "kisses." They have no fear.
Winston doing a great befuddled face:

After a while, Chloe decided that the bunnies tasted all right, and that she'd keep them. She then spent the rest of the time guarding their cage.
George is getting big... really big. He's already a lot bigger than his brother and, judging by his enormously out of proportion feet and head, has a ways to go. Here he is trying to climb into his nesting ball:

Doesn't he look like Winnie the Pooh getting stuck in the rabbit hole?
When we got back to school I got really excited about the pen and giving the bunnies room to hop, so I immediately set it up on Brent's floor, making a huge mess:

Oh well. They loved it. Here's the cool "salad bowl" my mom got for them (which is all gone now):

Anyway, I don't want to spoil my next entry so I won't say much, but come back soon to hear about what Brent and I were up to in NYC!
Goodnight!

Those pics with the bunnies and Chloe are amazing. I can't believe that Chloe didn't go completely bonkers over them. I guess she is to fat to leap the fence. Aha ah aha haa

Poppy - I definitely hope they can be friends! I don't trust Chloe quite yet though.
