Stuck In Customs
So, I was on Flickr the other day searching for pictures of Rome (since Brent and I are going in June) and stumbled across this site: Stuck In Customs. Stuck In Customs is a photography blog by Trey Ratcliff. You absolutely have to check it out, it is the most beautiful photography I think I have ever seen. I'll be linking him in my Links section so definitely take a look!

I definitely recommend going to the different collections site and checking them out.

Just catching up on my over-stuffed RSS feeds folder! I checkout out that site and it looks like he does a lot of HDR, which is basically three pictures taken at a long, short and normal exposure and then blended into one. (Gotta use a tripod.) The wider the range in times, the more sorta illustrated or computerized it looks. He looks like he uses a wide-ish range. I just learned about this last year, and what I find interesting is that they say this range is closer in detail than regular photography to what the eye naturally sees. I'll stop rambling now and dump some links on you:

This food photographer/blogger occasionally does some low-range stuff that I love. I wish I could frame that melon picture: http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/001392.html
