Crazy
I'm sure you've all seen this 100 times already, but this is sorta crazy:
What I find is especially interesting, is that all the news articles out there saying he got what he deserved for being "disruptive" are written by Democrats. Aren't they supposed to be against that kind of thing? Or maybe that's only when it serves their purposes.

London?
No, not yet. I teased you all into thinking I had finished my London entry which I have not. I have all of my pictures up now though! Brent is making me go to the mall with him so I can't write the entry quite yet but I should have it done tonight!
Until then, get caught up!
The conclusion to London is on the way and then we can move on to other countries. I'm taking a vote (even though I'll probably end up doing what I feel like regardless of what you all say) -- should I go back and finish Rome before continuing with the other countries? Or should I do all the post-Rome traveling first and then go back and finish Rome? I just might listen to you, so please comment!

Recap
OK, so I don't know what I should do about my issues with Flickr. I use the Flickr uploader application, I have a Pro account, I do everything right, and get nothing in return! I'm thinking of ending this one-sided relationship in the near future if some serious changes aren't made soon. I'm sorry you've all been waiting so long for a new post, I swear it's coming! I've been working on my London post but haven't gotten all the pictures up yet (honestly, I've put HOURS into this).
I figured that in the meantime, I'd give you all a recap of what I've been up to.
I moved back into school but still have not gotten all of my things organized. I'm overloaded with work this semester, so I find it nearly impossible to get every aspect of my life organized at once. See, what I'm really saying here, is that if I take the mental effort of finding places for all my posters, pens, makeup, clothes, linens, etc. that I won't be able to gather up enough concentration to write papers and do long, boring readings. This is actually just a handy excuse I've made up to make myself feel less useless.
Outside of school work, Brent and I celebrated our three year anniversary on September 13th! We went out to dinner at Max's Oyster Bar and Grill in West Hartford. We go there almost every time we're celebrating something so you've probably heard about it on The Blonde Excuse before. Brent and I also went to the US Open with his family which I already posted about, and we went to my grandparents' joint birthday brunch last weekend. This week, my parents came up to visit for the day and we all went out to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. If you've never eaten at CPK, you're really missing out. There isn't one anywhere near me at home, so I only discovered it three short years ago when I started college and it is definitely responsible for my empty wallet and at least a few unnecessary pounds.
Other than that, Brent and I have been hiking a lot at Reservoir #6 on Avon Mountain where we go for 4 mile jogs around the reservoir (counteracting CPK visits) and long walks along the nearby trails. I have lots of pictures from one of our really good hikes that will be posted very soon (if Flickr works).
Tonight is my school's Fall Concert and I'm not entirely sure who is going, but I hear it might be Matt Nathanson and Carbon Leaf. Matt Nathanson sings "Laid," one of my favorite songs. "Laid" has the perfect combination of dirty and silly and I highly recommend downloading it on iTunes.
Anyway, I really should be doing something more productive or more fun than sitting on my computer wasting time, I really just wanted you all to know that I'm going to be posting VERY soon and it's not my fault!

Back to Europe
Jut to keep you all posted, I've been working on a huge entry to finish up the London leg of Brent's and my trip this summer and that's why I haven't posted in so long. Flickr is killing me and keeps deleting half of the pictures I post, so that's the reason for the delay.
Until then, I'm sure you'll all be entertained to know that I managed to expose my naked butt to my entire campus today.

US Open
On Saturday, Brent's family took me to the men's US Open semi-finals with them. We had amazing front row seats and saw Ferrer, Djokovic, Federer, Davydenko. We also saw a bunch of celebrities who I obviously took a bunch of pictures of. I'll save the random celebrity pictures for the end.
I wasn't using any zoom on this picture, this is actually how close we were:

Djokovic had a little bit of a freak out during one of the games when he stopped, turned to the crowd (with everyone being completely silent the whole time) and screamed "SHUT UP!!!!" This immediately put me on Team Ferrer, who lost.
Getting interviewed by a former women's tennis champ from Argentina whose name I've forgotten:

Coincidentally, I took a picture of the screen right as I was on it!

The next match was between Davydenko and Federer.
Look at the woman to the left of his elbow in this picture:

And now for the celebrities. First, here's Robert DeNiro on the bottom in the greenish boat hat:

This guy was eating lunch near us and was in the Dave Matthews Band Everyday video. Brent thinks he's a comedian but neither of us know who:

Everyday Video:
Brent's picture of John McEnroe on the left:

Kirk Douglas, Catherine Zeta Jones, and Michael Douglas (making a ridiculous face):

Kirk Douglas with some famous old tennis player or something:

And finally, the caveman from "Cavemen":

We had such good seats that we're apparently on TV a lot in the background! My parents were nice enough to Tivo it for us so we're going to check it out this weekend. Also, we're in the background of a bunch of random pictures I found online but I'll post all that later.
For now, I'm on my way out for Brent's and my three year anniversary!!

Welcome Back Party
Sorry it's been so long without new pictures, but life has been pretty crazy with college starting again. My room STILL isn't completely unpacked and everything is such a huge mess that I guess I just haven't had the energy for blogging. Anyway, here are a few pictures from Trinity's Welcome Back party on Friday night.
Brent and I didn't pregame or go all out that night because we were going to the US Open pre-9am the next day and didn't want to spend the entire day hungover. Anyway, here's a very sober picture of us before the party:

It turns out the Welcome Back party isn't all that fun, it's actually really lame and full of underclassmen. I'm not sure why it took us this long to figure that out, maybe because this is the first time in years (slash ever) either of us have been to a college party sober. Anyway, here are a bunch of drunk people dancing:

I promise we'll be more fun next time.
Anyway, here are a couple cute pictures of the bunnies:

The bunnies have gotten a little snobby lately. I've been bringing them giant plates of mixed salad from the salad bar at school including all their favorites (Romaine lettuce, carrots, green peppers, baby corn, etc.) and they just let it sit, untouched, like I'm serving them poison. Considering that it's school food, I suppose that's entirely possible. But anyway, sometimes to show their displeasure, they dump it on the floor and spread it around for me to step on. Today, however, I brought them an overpriced container of mixed greens from Whole Foods which they found much more to their liking.
And finally, here's the beautiful white board art Brent left me on my door:

In case you couldn't read it....

I have a ton of great pictures from the US Open including one of Brent with the GEICO-esque cavemen from the new abc show, Cavemen. If you haven't heard of it, check out the trailer:
I don't care how dumb it looks, I'm 100% sold.
Goodnight!

Coming Soon
So I have college party pictures as well as US Open pictures coming really soon! I went to my school's Welcome Back party with Brent last night and then today, his parents took us to the US Open where we sat FRONT ROW and did a lot of celebrity watching. I sent my pictures to Perez Hilton in hopes that he'll use them and link The Blonde Excuse so I'm holding off a day or so before posting, but check soon!

Snoop D-O-Double G
Have you ever played the movie game? If you haven't, the general gameplay is that one person names an actor, the next a movie that actor was in, then the next person names an actor in that movie, etc. Brent and I were playing some variation of this game and decided it would be fun to see if it's possible to get from a completely random actor all the way to good old Snoop Dogg. The actor we (I) chose was Bill Paxton (the greatest actor in history) and as it turns out, there are just a mere 32 degrees of separation between Bill Paxton and Snoop Dogg. Brent and I were so impressed with ourselves for a successful road to Snoop Dogg on our very first try that we decided to trace our steps for you. And for anyone who needed it... here's proof college kids have too much time on their hands:
Bill Paxton
Twister
Helen Hunt
What Women Want
Mel Gibson
The Patriot
Heath Ledger
Brokeback Mountain
Jake Gyllenhaal
Zodiac
Robert Downey Jr.
A Scanner Darkly
Keanu Reeves
Point Break
Patrick Swayze
Donnie Darko
Jena Malone
The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys
Kieran Culkin
Igby Goes Down
Ryan Phillippe
Cruel Intentions
Reese Witherspoon
Legally Blonde
Luke Wilson
Home Fries
Drew Barrymore
Charlie's Angels
Cameron Diaz
There's Something About Mary
Ben Stiller
Starsky and Hutch
Snoop Dogg
And there you have it, the 32 degrees of Snoop Dogg.
Do you have a random Snoop Dogg movie connection train you'd like to share? Or maybe a good actor to use for our next Snoop Dogg challenge? Comment!

Last Days Home
So I leave for Trinity today! I'm definitely excited to be going back but I'm really going to miss everyone from home. I guess I don't have to miss them too long though because Molly, Tony, Kristina, and Jason are visiting me tonight. Anyway, during my last few days here, I....
Went to the beach
Molly on the phone at the beach:

Cathy, Hayley, and Vanessa in the water:

Said goodbye to the pets
Frisky not really fitting in her cat house:

Had Brent down to visit
Brent and Me going out to lunch at the Boxcar Cantina:

Went out to Black Bear again with my friends
I'm either drinking and laughing or I just found Jesus:

I've been told I make a straw face....

Cathy and some guy named Will who bought her a shot and tried to make out with her right in front of all of us:

Molly and Me dancing (of course we were the only ones in the whole bar again):

All right, I guess it's time to go back to school!
