The Blonde Excuse Challenge Submission 2

I didn’t submit my pictures on Saturday because they are so pathetic! Our original plan was to go hiking near home – it’s great exercise (as you know) and the leaves are changing color so it’s really beautiful around here.
As it turned out the weather wasn’t very cooperative – it is October in the Pacific Northwest after all. So we decided to walk along the beach. Then it started to rain and we decided walking in the cold rain sucked so we went home. Then it rained all day Sunday.
Anyway, I did take my camera along hoping to have something fun to share. There wasn’t anything fun on the beach, but I did take these few pictures for you.

Tree, your entry is not pathetic or boring at all! I love the beach pictures, they're so beautiful! I especially love that my name is written in rocks out there, that's so cool! Thank you so much for entering The Blonde Excuse Challenge and watch out for tsunamis!

Thanks for posting them! Like I said, I was really hoping for something a lot more exciting to share with you and your readers. But really, who I am kidding? My 20's were a while ago. If only I was a hip 30-something like Jocelyn :-)
If an 'exciting' event presents itself I be sure and take my camera along and share next weekend.
Oh, and I'm glad you like the beach shots. I always enjoy your beach pictures. It's fun to see the differences between the two oceans.

I love the beach pictures. You must live near/in Seattle. It's lovely up there- unfortunately I've never seen it in the fall.
Tree, don't feel bad about missing out on the punk rock events that the 30-somethings partook of this weekend. Did you see the girl drinking wine out of what looked like a medical waste bag?
But now that Gertie and I skipped it, Jocelyn says we have to perform community service.

Christine- I don't really have an end-date for the contest quite yet, but I'll definitely wait for your entry! I'm going to wait until I have a few posts for people to vote on and then I'll set and end date giving last-minute people a week or so to send something in if they want to.
