Job Interviews And Nintendo World

Sorry for not posting for a few days but I've actually been skiing in Vermont with my family, Brent, and Brent's family. Anyway, on Thursday night Brent came down to Greenwich because on Friday morning we had to be in NYC for job interviews. Despite the terrible rain, we made it in looking very professional and well put-together. We may not have had any idea what we were talking about in our interviews, but at least we looked good.

Fog in NYC (that's a skyscraper in the background, it's just blocked completely by fog after the first few floors:

After our interviews, we came upon Nintendo World. If you know anything about Brent, you know this is a dream come true for him. He apparently didn't even know that Nintendo World existed:

There was an entire display case section in the middle of the store with all sorts of cool old Nintendo stuff. I especially liked this one:

Every version of the Nintendo DS in the world:

Evolution of the hand-held Nintendo systems (ending in the Nintendo DS):

Brent, my mom, and I all have Nintendo DS Lite systems and they're way more fun than you could possibly imagine. I got one for Brent for our anniversary last year and he was up all night playing it so many times that I finally gave it a try and found myself awake at 6am because I desperately needed to finish my level of New Super Mario Brothers DS. Obviously I ended up needing to get one and I have never regretted it. My mom loves hers too and is actually pretty good at it! Ok, that's enough Nintendo advertisement for one post.

As we were walking to Grand Central to take the train back home, we walked through a movie set:

The movie is called The International and is starring Clive Owen and Naomi Watts so if you go see it, watch for Brent and me in the background!

Anyway, I'll be posting Vermont pictures soon. I hope you all had a great weekend and kept safe in the Northeast if you were in the snowstorm we got!

Hey! Did you ever hear back from J about any job leads? He's back from Mexico--but it has been CRAZY busy with year end commentary's and reporting, so it wouldn't surprise me if you hadn't heard anything yet. Let me know!
