New Mama Cat
Shadow and her siblings were given away when they were only a few weeks old (WAY before kittens should leave their mother) so Shadow has been in cat mommy withdrawal ever since we got her. It's actually really sad. We tried buying her a stuffed kitty "Mama Cat" which she adores, but it still isn't quite the same as the real thing. While visiting my house over Christmas, Shadow discovered Frisky, a perfect fit for her new Mama Cat. Well, Frisky was having none of it:

Frisky has a foot problem (due to her cancer) and until it clears up, she has to sleep on a special bed with all of her food, water, etc. right by her so that she doesn't have to walk too far. Frisky DOES NOT like it when anyone gets near her "area." Shadow, however, thinks she owns everything she sees, and wants nothing more than to snuggle up with Frisky and make her her new Mama Cat. Frisky, eventually, conceded:

And here's Rocky, running off with a bag of chips:

Well, I'm now ready to start posting about Christmas Eve and Christmas. I'm getting there!
Goodnight everyone!

Brent - I know we do, aren't they wonderful?
Jocelyn - I am too! She's back living with Brent now and I miss her terribly.
