La Playa
I'm supposed to be working on a paper right now so this is just going to be a really quick entry of some beach pictures from our first morning in Playa del Carmen.
Lying in the sun:

This last picture is my favorite of the day. There were water aerobics classes at the pool and the leader of the class was the weirdest, most energetic person I've seen in a long time, made even more entertaining by his little, tiny Speedo:

It looks like you guys had so much fun! I was just there in September and have the exact same picture of my feet on the lounge chair looking out onto the water. I want to go back!! PS: how is your monkey bite?! PPS: how is your mystery illness?

Christine - Where did you stay when you went? My monkey bite is doing fine, I'm getting all my rabies shots so that I don't have anything to worry about... ugh. And about my mystery illness... who knows? I have pretty much EVERY symptom of a thyroid disorder of some sort but getting all the tests for an official diagnosis is impossible so I bought over-the-counter thyroid pills in Mexico (I know, it's probably a really bad idea) and I'm seeing if that helps. It's a really really low dose, so I figured it can't kill me...haha.

I love Playa del Carmen so much. Now you know why i have been going every year for the past 5 years or so. We'll have to go back together sometime!
