Sorry guys, I read both your blogs occasionally, but the knee jerk republicanism and lame left bashing on Sam's site is just edging into the tragic given what we've gotten from the post 1994 Gingrich era.

Old money WASPs (of which I am one) pulling the GOP lever in this climate goes beyond selfish & lazy and into evil.

I gotta say, you and your man Brett don't strike me as the evil WASP type (you're both cuter than a basket of preppy kittens together) -- That said, your uncle, who I have no doubt you love very much, is falling into the knee jerk democrat bashing on his second Newport post "Democrat Convention" where he trashes every dem he photographs. Sorry, but after 8 years of mind blowing Bush outrages, the notion of Northeastern WASPs lazily pulling the GOP lever because they fear the Estate Tax and a little more corporate regulation more than they care about the massive death, misery and all around chaos created by the GOP is unforgivable.
