Leaving
Hopping in the car with Brent to drive to Illinois for a week. Why? Crazy story to come... not sure when, though.

Christmas Again?
Apparently I never got around to posting my Christmas pictures! You guys really have to keep on top of me, I've been slacking lately. Anyway, pre-apartment (aka before I got super busy and stopped blogging and taking pictures) we had Christmas over at my house:

The only pictures of people I took on Christmas were actually of Poppy, who we all miss so much:

I had given him a framed picture of the two of us in Florida many years ago:

We probably shouldn't have given Rocky any cake....

Shadow with one of her Christmas presents:

More soon!

Shadow
While you're all waiting for me to start posting more, here's an adorable picture of Brent's and my kitty Shadow:

A big part of the reason why I haven't been posting as regularly is that I've been having too much fun with my new film camera. I'll post those pictures soon too though!

Diana F+
So I know I'm getting a little ahead of myself here, but my memory card is currently completely full with pictures from Sara and Christian's wedding and I don't have time to go through all those photos right now, so I thought I'd post something a little different.
Recently, Brent and I bought Diana F+ cameras. They're the old lomographic cameras from the early 60s that take blurry, junk photos. Why did I need this? Because I love blurry junk photos... who doesn't?
Anyway, with all our new FILM prints (yes, there are still places that will develop real film, it's those rolls of stuff people in the olden days used to put in the back of cameras) we needed a cool way of displaying our new "art." Brent and I ended up getting brown cork board panels and attaching them to one of the walls in our bedroom to make a window pattern. We then started pinning some of our favorite photos from our Diana F+ cameras onto our "windows." I happen to think it came out really well, so I took a few pictures with my iPhone to share with everyone. Remember, it's a work in progress.
My "window" is on the left, and Brent's is on the right:

One of my favorite things about the pictures I've been taking is that without even realizing it, a lot of them fit together in really funny ways:

Part of the fun of these cameras is that you never know what you're going to get, every shot is a surprise. Once I get some more prints developed I'll post some more of my Diana F+ ("lomo") shots.
What do you think?

Best Yahoo Answers Question Ever
As I'm sure many of you know, Yahoo Answers is the best place to get information of any sort. Basically, you type in ANY question, and then Yahoo users can answer it for you. While browsing through questions recently, I took a screen shot of an especially good one:

Sara's Shower
I guess it's time to try to get things back to normal. There has been a lot going on in my life lately that I'm going to update everyone on very soon, but until then, here are my pictures from Sara's bridal shower.
Sara is Molly's older sister and she's getting married this weekend! Back before Christmas, Molly threw her a surprise Christmas-themed bridal shower that Cathy and I went to with Molly.
Surprise! Sara walking in with Molly:

Molly with one of her cousins:

Sara's fiance Christian's family:

Big group photo with Sara and her mom in the middle:

Molly had set up a bunch of fun games like Famous Couples Match with prizes:

Sara with her bouquet made of bows for her rehearsal:

Handmade party favors (Molly is a real super hero bridesmaid):

It was a fantastic party with great food and I know everyone had a wonderful time:

Poppy
As you may have read on Jocelyn's blog, our Poppy just passed away. He was a true hero and an amazing grandfather. We were all so very lucky to have had him in our lives.
Poppy had his obituary in the Greenwich Time today, and if you knew Poppy and he touched your life in any way, please leave him a Guestbook entry on this website HERE.
